RCCC Supervisor, Yohandri, Ph.D, Officially Holds the Professor Title

The supervisor of the Padang State University Research Center for Climate Change, Yohandri, M.Sc., Ph.D, officially holds the title of Professor, starting from February 1, 2023. Yohandri, who is the Head of the UNP Research and Community Service Institute (LPPM UNP) officially received a Decree which was immediately signed by the Minister of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, dated March 3, 2023.

In the decision letter, it stated:starting February 1, 2023, he was promoted to Professor/Professor in the field of Instrumentation Physics, with a credit score of 1,102.40. Through the letter it is also known that Yohandri, who was born in Bayur, July 25, 1978, has served as Associate Lector since December 1, 2016. Meanwhile, he received his Doctoral studies since 2012.

Yohandri, who is familiarly called Andri, was very happy after he officially attained the highest academic position in the world of higher education. Met on Tuesday (13/3), he was determined to be more active in researching and conducting studies in his field of expertise, Instrumentation Physics. Yohandri's educational background started with his bachelor's degree in Physics at FMIPA UNP, Masters in Physics from ITB and Doctoral Degree in Information Science at Chiba University, Japan.

Head of RCCC UNP, Dr. Nofiyendri Sudiar, when met separately, admitted that he was very happy and also proud of the success of Prof. Yohandri, M.Sc., M.Sc. Moreover, Yohandri is also the Coordinator of the Education and Training Division in the UNP RCCC structure. "Hopefully Pak Andri will be more active in researching and serving, and make a significant contribution not only to UNP, but also to RCCC UNP," explained Nofi Yendri.  [MIG]
