The good news covered RCCC UNP, after the inauguration of Dr. Ir. Krismadinata, ST, MT as Dean of the Faculty of Engineering - Universitas Negeri Padang for the 2023-2027 period. The inauguration was held on Friday, 28 July 2023, at the UNP Auditorium, along with the inauguration of 9 other Deans within UNP and the Director of the UNP Advocacy School. The eleven officials were appointed directly by the Chancellor of UNP, Prof. Ganefri, Ph.D.
Krismadinata was a Member of the Research and Development Division at RCCC UNP, and before being appointed as Dean of the Faculty of Engineering UNP was Head of the Research Center, Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) Universitas Negeri Padang. Apart from that, on a daily basis Pak Kris, as he is affectionately called,is a lecturer at the Department of Electrical Engineering, UNP with an educational background: graduated with a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering in 2000 at Andalas University, a master's degree in electrical engineering in 2004 at the Bandung Institute of Technology and a doctoral degree in electrical engineering in 2012 at the University of Malaya, Malaysia.
The man who was born in Padang in 1977 has been appointed as a Lecturer at the Faculty of Engineering, UNP since 2000 and actively publishes research articles in various reputable journals like Scopus and is a world-class expert in the field of Electric Energy Conversion. Head of RCCC UNP, Dr. Nofi Yendri Sudiar, M.Si is enthusiastic and very proud of the trust given to Krismadinata.
